The Money Illusion

The price paid is often accepted for something so shallow as enough is never enough. It is with blurred vision and a misguided belief in a false sense of security that propels some to do anything for the sake of money.

Money will surely run its course, the cycles of ups and downs, wars fought to prop it up, a teetering game of value or devalue with only a promise to back it up. The veil of deception under which the more one has the more one is revered is temporary, yet that veil is held with pride and a sense of power over others. The greedy, the arrogant, and unyielding powerful forces, all eager to grab and consume everything in sight. The price paid is often accepted for something so shallow as enough is never enough. It is with blurred vision and a misguided belief in a false sense of security that propels some to do anything for the sake of money. With a little effort to enlighten the heart, pitfalls of a life lived for the love of money can be exchanged for a life lived for unselfishness. We can learn to love and cast a smile, lend a helping hand or a word of praise, we can be happy with what we have, and we can be the person who puts our heart and soul in honorable actions. It is then, that we accomplish something noble in life.
